Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving under supervisor guidance
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and drainage system upkeep
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload materials and equipment at designated project locations
- Document daily work activities and material usage as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic familiarity with construction tools and safety equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
