Responsibilities
- Execute heavy civil construction projects including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, rollers) with precision
- Perform routine infrastructure maintenance and emergency repairs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams for project specifications
- Document daily progress and material usage accurately
- Participate in snow removal and weather emergency response
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid NYS Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts
