Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, and sweepers) under proper supervision
- Maintain and repair sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and storm drainage systems
- Support traffic control and safety measures during construction zones
- Assist in park maintenance, landscaping, and facility upkeep operations
- Document work activities and maintain equipment according to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of construction/maintenance experience
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
