Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street repairs, park maintenance, and facility upkeep
- Operate light equipment like shovels, rakes, and hand tools under supervision
- Assist in construction and demolition projects following safety protocols
- Load/unload materials and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in stormwater management and vegetation control
- Support emergency response crews during natural disasters
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Basic math and communication skills
