Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including gradalls, bobcats, and asphalt pavers, under supervision.
- Perform street maintenance tasks such as pothole repair, crack sealing, and striping.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of storm drains, ditches, and right-of-ways.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas comply with OSHA safety standards and local regulations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and assist in weather-related recovery efforts.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Nevada Class C Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
