Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and asphalt/concrete repair
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, power tools) under supervision
- Maintain public spaces: parks, sidewalks, streets, and drainage systems
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Complete administrative tasks remotely using digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience with digital reporting systems (e.g., GIS, work order software)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
