Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street sweeping, pothole patching, and snow removal operations
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment safely (e.g., dump trucks, street sweepers, loaders)
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure including sidewalks, curbs, and storm drains
- Support emergency response operations during severe weather events
- Participate in neighborhood beautification and public space improvement projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in public areas
- Complete daily equipment maintenance logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
