Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, landscaping, and debris removal
- Operate and maintain equipment like jackhammers, saws, and pneumatic tools
- Assist in road repair, drainage system maintenance, and sidewalk construction
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Collaborate with crew members to complete infrastructure projects efficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs
- Support emergency response during weather-related events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of traffic control and work zone safety
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical examination
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/weekends as needed
