Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, trenching, and material handling for construction/maintenance projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) and hand tools safely
- Assist in road repairs, sidewalk installations, and park facility upkeep
- Ensure job sites remain clean and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support traffic control and flagging operations during roadwork
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Document daily work progress and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
