Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, snow removal equipment)
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and debris removal
- Support park maintenance and beautification projects
- Collaborate with crew leads on daily operational tasks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Document work activities and equipment usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Maryland Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of maintenance equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous municipal/public works experience a plus
