Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, graders, and dump trucks for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping in municipal parks and facilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Complete detailed work logs and inspection reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban development projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in construction or public works
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Colorado resident with eligibility to work in the US
