Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and equipment operation
- Maintain streets, sidewalks, and public green spaces
- Operate machinery safely (trucks, mowers, hand tools)
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols
- Complete daily maintenance logs and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
