Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping
- Operate heavy machinery safely (backhoes, dump trucks, etc.)
- Inspect and repair public infrastructure (sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Assist in emergency storm response and recovery efforts
- Maintain accurate work records and equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly valued
