Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (street sweepers, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure maintenance
- Perform snow removal operations during winter emergencies
- Conduct routine inspections of roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Respond to public service requests for infrastructure issues
- Maintain accurate records of work activities and materials used
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure maintenance standards
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Pass background check and drug screening
