Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk maintenance, and stormwater management projects
- Ensure worksite safety compliance and proper use of PPE
- Collaborate with crew members to meet daily project goals
- Document work progress and maintain equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (paid training provided)
