Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, dump trucks) safely
- Maintain public spaces including parks, streets, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency response during weather events
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Class A or B CDL preferred
- 1+ years construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic equipment operation knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license
