Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, paving, and equipment operation
- Maintain city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, loaders, and street sweepers
- Assist in emergency storm response and flood mitigation
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License Class C
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with construction tools and equipment preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of traffic control setups
- Willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
