Responsibilities
- Construct, repair, and maintain streets, sidewalks, parks, and public facilities
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform manual labor including excavation, debris removal, and material handling
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and city regulations
- Participate in emergency response operations (e.g., storm cleanup)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance practices preferred
