Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor on infrastructure projects including road maintenance, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, loaders, graders) with proper certification
- Conduct site inspections and document findings via mobile reporting tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams on remote planning sessions for upcoming projects
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and minor troubleshooting
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols during all operations
- Participate in cross-departmental virtual meetings for project coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in digital reporting tools (e.g., Fieldwire, Procore)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with remote collaboration experience
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
