Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street repairs, drainage systems, and park maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Assist in road paving, sidewalk construction, and landscaping projects
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Maintain clean job sites and proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
