Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, trenching, backfilling, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and pneumatic tools under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to supervisors
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical work
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Experience with hand/power tools and light machinery preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
