Responsibilities
- Perform road maintenance, park upkeep, and public facility repairs
- Operate heavy equipment safely (backhoes, graders, dump trucks)
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via remote digital tools
- Document field activities using mobile reporting systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Maryland Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Proficient with digital reporting tools (remote work component)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
