Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and park facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) and hand tools safely
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public works sites and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via remote communication platforms
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation certification preferred
- Experience with GIS mapping software a plus
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
