Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in construction, maintenance, and repair of city infrastructure
- Operate hand/power tools and light equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in traffic control and site safety protocols
- Load/unload materials and maintain clean work zones
- Support stormwater management and landscaping projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Previous public works/construction experience preferred
