Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, graders) for construction projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and asphalt/concrete work
- Maintain public infrastructure: roads, sidewalks, parks, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain equipment per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional crews on project timelines and deliverables
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Indiana Class B CDL license within 90 days of hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus
