Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and asphalt patching
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, pressure washers)
- Maintain sidewalks, roads, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Complete daily work logs and report maintenance issues
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in extreme weather
- Experience with construction tools or heavy equipment preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
