Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair city streets, sidewalks, alleys, and public rights-of-way.
  • Perform snow removal, ice control, and salting operations during winter months.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as dump trucks, loaders, and paving equipment safely.
  • Assist with construction projects, including concrete pouring and asphalt repair.
  • Perform general labor duties including digging, hauling materials, and cleaning work areas.
  • Set up and maintain traffic control devices and flagging operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Michigan Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
