Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, rollers, and compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and drainage system installations
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and proper equipment usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct routine site inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Maintain clean and organized work zones to prevent safety hazards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
