Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (backhoes, graders, dump trucks)
- Construct and repair sidewalks, curbs, and drainage systems
- Execute traffic control and safety zone setup
- Conduct routine park maintenance and landscaping
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools for infrastructure projects
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class A or B CDL license
- 2+ years construction/public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Clean driving record and background check
