Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate light equipment like jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Install and maintain traffic control devices and safety signage
- Assist in repairing sidewalks, curbs, and storm drain systems
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely at job sites
- Perform routine maintenance on public facilities and green spaces
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of traffic control procedures
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
