Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) for infrastructure projects
- Perform routine maintenance on roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in stormwater management and erosion control initiatives
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public safety projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
