Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and moving construction materials
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for infrastructure maintenance
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk installation, and park development projects
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily assignments efficiently
- Report hazards and maintain clean work zones
- Support emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand/power tools and light equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Background clearance required
