Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Respond to weather-related emergencies (snow/ice removal, flooding response)
- Follow all OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with landscaping or construction equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Strong work ethic in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
