Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm response and emergency repairs during severe weather
- Participate in community beautification projects and park maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
