Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and concrete work.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and graders.
- Assist in street maintenance, pothole repair, and traffic signal maintenance.
- Conduct snow and ice removal during winter weather events.
- Maintain parks, trails, and right-of-way areas to ensure a safe and attractive environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while on-site.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and the public regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance tools is preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible shift schedules.
