Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, debris removal, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, pavement saws) and hand tools safely
- Assist in road maintenance, stormwater system repairs, and park infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document work activities and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to follow written/verbal instructions precisely
