Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in repairing and maintaining public facilities like sidewalks, drainage systems, and parks
- Safely handle and dispose of construction debris and hazardous materials
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
