Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and operating heavy machinery
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park infrastructure projects
- Ensure work sites comply with OSHA safety standards and city regulations
- Operate equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Participate in seasonal storm preparation and snow removal operations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout project completion
- Document daily progress and material usage for reporting purposes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction tools or heavy equipment preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
