Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Conduct routine maintenance on public facilities and green spaces
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and traffic control procedures
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional crews on complex projects
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license (Class D)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
