Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and transporting materials for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and trucks under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Participate in snow removal and emergency weather response operations
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Collaborate with crews to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends for emergencies
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and techniques
