Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, graders, rollers, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Clear debris, snow, and ice from streets and public rights-of-way during inclement weather.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work site.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Florida Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labor for extended periods.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
