Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and paving
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, forklifts, compactors)
- Maintain parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency storm response
- Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Support infrastructure repair projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of construction tools
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug test
- Preferred: 1+ years public works experience
- Preferred: Class B CDL license
