Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and paving support
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely and efficiently
- Maintain and repair sidewalks, streets, and public facilities
- Assist in traffic control and safety zone setup
- Load/unload construction materials and debris
- Conduct routine site inspections and report hazards
- Collaborate with crew leads and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic equipment operation knowledge
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam
