Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including grading, paving, and patching of city streets and sidewalks.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter weather events.
- Maintain and clean public parks, rights-of-way, and drainage facilities to ensure community safety and aesthetics.
- Operate heavy equipment such as rollers, loaders, and graders under the supervision of a foreman.
- Ensure all work sites comply with OSHA safety regulations and local ordinances.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as required for daily projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Arizona Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to learn equipment operation is a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
