Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repair, drainage clearing, and sidewalk construction
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in traffic control during road work using proper signage and barricades
- Conduct site cleanup and waste disposal following OSHA and EPA standards
- Participate in emergency response during storms or natural disasters
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Nevada Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn heavy equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to safety protocols
