Responsibilities

  • Perform snow and ice removal operations, including plowing, salting, and sanding roads, sidewalks, and public areas.
  • Maintain and repair city streets, including pothole filling, crack sealing, and pavement patching.
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and graders.
  • Assist in street sweeping, sweeping catch basins, and storm drain maintenance to prevent flooding.
  • Set up and monitor traffic control devices and barricades during construction and maintenance projects.
  • Perform general labor duties such as digging, hauling materials, and cleaning work sites.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record required.
