Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, park upkeep, and facility groundskeeping
- Operate heavy machinery (dump trucks, graders, asphalt rollers) with proper safety protocols
- Execute snow removal and emergency response operations during inclement weather
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on city assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works projects
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain detailed work documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction equipment or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
