Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Perform routine street maintenance including pothole repairs and traffic sign installation
- Assist in wastewater treatment plant operations and water quality monitoring
- Execute stormwater management systems and flood prevention initiatives
- Conduct park and facility maintenance including irrigation and landscape management
- Participate in emergency response teams for weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation
