Responsibilities
- Perform road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and sidewalk installations
- Operate light machinery including jackhammers, saws, and compactors
- Assist in storm debris removal and snow emergency operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic equipment operation experience (excavators, dump trucks)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous municipal or construction experience preferred
