Responsibilities
- Execute road maintenance and drainage improvement projects
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators and graders
- Perform site preparation and excavation work
- Install and repair public utilities (water/sewer lines)
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical specifications
- Maintain project documentation and equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- Valid Louisiana Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of surveying equipment
- Clean background check and drug screen
- Experience with municipal project documentation
- Strong physical stamina and weather adaptability
